Sandburg Middle School Support Staff have created a website full of resources for students and families during distance learning and Covid-19. The website is linked here. Resources available are as follows: Virtual Appointments SMS support staff will be available to schedule virtual appointments. These staff members include school counselors, social worker, school psychologist, culture and climate specialist, and personal learning coach. Student Self-Care While we are supposed to socially distance ourselves to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading, we don’t need to emotionally isolate. Take care of yourself. We know people are feeling overwhelmed and increasingly anxious. Mental Health Support We are living in a time of heightened anxiety and many of us, adults and children alike, could benefit from the resources we gathered. Community Resources Robbinsdale Public Schools will be providing ALL children, 18 and under, with FREE meals on weekdays while schools are closed. There are many local and national programs available to help with basic necessities and to ensure that children have access to food while schools are closed.
