To families interested in competitive golf at Armstrong:
The Armstrong boys golf team has a developmental team designed for 7th and 8th graders at Plymouth MS or Sandburg MS who plan to attend Armstrong in the future. This program is geared toward introducing kids to competitive golf. Some golfing experience is strongly encouraged. The season does not begin at the same time as the high school season, we wait until Eagle Lake opens - usually early to mid April. Kids will practice 2-3 days/week and we will have some 9 hole competitions later in the season. For those that might have the ability, 7th and 8th graders can try out for the varsity/JV teams - and be placed on the Developmental Team if they do not qualify. Finally, if signing up for the developmental team, families should pay the middle school fee ($46). Please see our website for more information or contact me directly at john_knutson@rdale.org
