Rdale rolls out new visitor process

Families will notice some changes in our schools the next time they visit our buildings. The district has partnered with Raptor, a visitor management system that enhances school security. This system is used to prevent unwanted visitors from entering our buildings and track those coming and going.

What this means for families

• Visitors are asked to provide identification when entering a district building. 
• The I.D. is scanned and the system quickly prints a visitor badge that includes a photo, the name of the visitor, time and date. 
• Visitors are asked to check out when leaving the building.

I.D.'s are only scanned once. Visitors will be looked up in the system for subsequent visits.
